It was another great year at the Louisiana Book Festival ... loved discussing my middle grade novel The Incredible Shrinking Boy on the “In the Middle of an Adventure” panel with J.T. Alexandry, Nick Courage, and Scott Reintgen. Looking forward to the next Louisiana Book Festival!

Summer Reading Visits 2019
From our friends in East Texas at the Waskom Library to our friends in South Louisiana at the Lafourche Parish Public Library branches, we had one heck of a summer visiting with HUNDREDS of readers at Summer Reading Programs far and wide! We can’t wait to do it again in 2020!

We had a blast visiting the Sibley and Springhill Branches of the Webster Parish Library system. These readers had very creative imaginations and made some pretty cool (and maybe a little scary) Zombie Socks!

We had an absolute blast visiting with readers at the Waskom Public Library ... and it's true that everything in Texas is bigger, including the books — at least the beautiful ones on the library facade! And we can't forget the awesome Bookadillo, which is the coolest armadillo we've ever seen!

Reading is one of my favorite things to do all the time, but there's something special about summer reading. And we loved meeting these readers who are spending their summer at a READING CAMP! at E.B. Williams Stoner Hill Elementary School! Thanks so much to awesome librarians Mrs. Meadows and Mrs. Berry for inviting us to the summer reading camp grounds of Camp Read-A-Lot. We hope we didn't leave too many zombie socks behind. But if there were any lurking in the tents, we know those readers can stop them!
